Seed-Soak is a natural liquid seed-germinator to rapidly establish rooting of seedlings and plantlets and to accelerate early growth. Seed-Soak is enriched with a natural enzyme possessing a high germination stimulating efficacy.

Effect on the Plants

The primary action of Seed-Soak is enabling uniform germination, earlier transplantation to field with low mortality, vigorous early growth, and higher resistance to disease and pests. Healthy seedlings can be transplanted earlier to the main-field. When applied after transplantation to main-field, new seedlings achieve a high rate of early growth with minimum mortality.

Mode of Action

A promising way to improve seedling protection and quality is to induce non-specific resistance based on a model worked out by Nature herself. The enzymes in Seed-Soak, by activating plant growth enhancing mechanisms, enable young seedlings to establish a strong rooting system to support maximum tillering/shooting. Seed-Soak also enhances the new root system’s resistance to fungal disease and pests and ensures that they do not accumulate in the soil or plant system.

Compatibility

Seed-Soak is tank mix compatible with soluble fertilisers, herbicides, pesticides and absorbent gels. As with all chemicals read all labels for compatibility verification and if practical, test on a small area prior to extensive use with other chemicals. DO NOT MIX OR APPLY WITH ALUMINIUM BASED FUNGICIDES.

General Direction of Use

Direct Main Field Application: After sowing/transplantation, drench or drip-dose Seed-Soak @ 1 litre – 2.5 litres per acre (dilution in 100-200 litres water).

METHOD OF SOAKING PER ACRE QUANTITY OF SEEDS
Mix 1 litre Seed-Soak in 20 litres water minimum. Take the seed quantity required for each one acre and soak in Seed-Soak solution. Soaking time can be as per usual practices. After soaking, leave seed bags to drip-dry covered with straw. Sow seeds in the Nursery Bed in the late afternoon. Pour remnant Seed-Soak solution into the nursery bed. If seeds are too small and fine to be soaked, sprinkle Seed-Soak (after dilution) directly on nursery bed, immediately after sowing.
